I am Dr. Osama A. Salih. A Professor of Human Nutrition, I have a BSc in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Science, King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi araia in 1983. MS and PhD degrees from the department of Bichemistry and Soil Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1987 and 1992.
I have joined School of Family Sciences at Ahad University for Women, Omdurman, Sudan in December 1991 to 2010.

From January 2011 to date, I jointed the National Nutrition Policy Chair (NNPC) at the Department of Community Health, College of Applied Medical Sciences at King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA.

I have joined Ahfad University for women (AUW-Sudan) in 1990 first as a Teaching Assistant then, Lecturer in the School of Health Sciences (SHS), promoted to Assistant Professor in 1992, Associate Professor in 1998 and full Professor in 2009.
Deanship: I was appointed as the Dean of the School of Health Sciences in 1995 to 2000. and In 2001, I established the Nutrition Center for Training and Researc (NCTR) and worked as the director of the center up to to 2010. During 2009-2010 I was appointed as the Registrar of the Ahfad University for Women .
